In the run up to the festive season, Eurostar deals can turn the present-buying chore into an exciting foreign holiday break, returning with all sorts of treats from a traditional north European Christmas market.
The Alsace region of France is home to some of the oldest markets in Europe. For example, the Christkindelsmärik, in Strasbourg, dates from 1570. After the 25th of November there will be almost 100 authentic Christmas markets across the region to choose from, selling everything from jewellery, glass, decorations and hampers to spicy sausages and hot mulled wine. At Thann in the south and you can taste 999 varieties of bredele, a type of Christmas biscuit. Book Eurostar deals from London to Strasbourg from £89 per person return, with onward connections within Alsace also available.
Do you know of any travel tour agency that can offer sightseeing tours including transportation and hotels when in Paris (example: Anderson Tours)?
It’s about £59 each way for an adult fare. People under 26 and seniors can get a discounted fare. There are also low cost carriers like Easyjet with one way fares around £70. Most of those carriers fly out of secondary airports, though, like from London Luton, so you do have to factor in the extra cost of getting there.

Happy travels!
BBC News confirms the news that operations through the channel tunnel are set to return to normal iminently:
Eurostar trains operating from St Pancras will be running at “nearly 100% capacity” by the end of the week, Eurotunnel has confirmed.
Eurotunnel is the name of the company that owns and runs the channel tunnel service through which Eurostar passenger trains travel on their way from London to Paris and other destinations. The fire onboard a freight shuttle train caused damage to one of the tunnels earlier this week and resulted in a reduced service temporarily.
Hi, I’m looking for directions from my hotel, Tyrp Blanche Fontaine (34 Rue Fontaine, Paris, 75009, France) to the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Nord. Thanks if you can help me out!!
Walk over to the Place de Clichy and take Bus 54 marked “Direction : PORTE D’AUBERVILLIERS”. It will get you to the Gare du nord in about 12 minutes. This is the most direct route. You can take the metro but you’ll need to change trains. Use the bus, its really easier.

Viewable below is a Eurostar Deals Document which gathers together some articles and blog posts to provide a downloadable portable document file.
Scroll the flash paper above, or click the thumbnail below to visit the eurostar deals pipe document at edocr.com
Some of the articles which have been merged into the document have originated from the eurostar deals blog here, and others have come from supporting domains. Whilst the pdf format is not ideal, for example it’s no use really for watching Eurostar Videos(!), it does have the advantage of being downloadable for offline reading, emailing as an attachment or printing off to read not only offline but off-screen. I hope you might find the document useful in some way as part of your research into the best eurostar deals.
